Revision
The Refutation of All Heresies only (printed pp. 9-153). The same volume's other Hippolytus pieces, Cyprian, Caius and Novatian are not part of this text. Transcribed from the CCEL ThML of ANF V, whose integrity was audited against the dated 1886 scan before this build and found no body-text loss in any book. Each book's own table of contents is kept where the edition prints one (Books I and V to X), and Book I's unnumbered Proemium stands before its chapter I. The chapters carry no printed section numerals, so the numbered sections here are the printed paragraphs, a reading aid rather than a printed address; verse quotations are kept whole, one line per line. The work's own text only. MacMahon's and Coxe's notes are not transcribed; where a note is nothing but a scripture reference identifying the passage quoted, that reference is kept as a link at the note's position. Fifteen readings in which the CCEL text departs from the 1886 print (among them "the inner than" for "the inner man" in Book X, chapter 15, and "the emperor Trojan" for "the emperor Trajan" in Book IX, chapter 11) are corrected to the print, read off the page images, and one note the print misnumbers ("Ps. cxvii. 19") is linked to the verse actually quoted, Psalm 118:19.
