Series
A Select Library of the Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, First Series, Volume X
Editor
Philip Schaff
Publisher
The Christian Literature Co., New York
Year
1888
Revision
Built from the CCEL ThML transcription of NPNF1-10, which was found to be missing ~16,000 words across twenty page-boundary spans, with printed Homilies LIII, LIV, LVIII, and LXXIX silently fused into their predecessors. Every lost span was recovered from the OCR of the dated 1888 scan (archive.org selectlibraryofn10auguuoft) and spliced at exact-match anchors, under a transcription-integrity audit run before this build. The work's own text only — Schaff/Riddle's editorial footnotes are not transcribed. Known print erratum preserved-with-correction; the Homily LIV heading misprints its pericope as Matt. XIV. 13 (the text expounds Matt. 16:13) — the reference here follows the text. The printed section numeral 3 of Homily XLVIII does not survive in any source available to this build; sections 2 and 3 read continuously there.
