The call of the first disciples
All four Gospels tell how Jesus gathered the first disciples, and they do not agree about where or when. John places a first meeting by the Jordan; the Synoptics begin at the lakeside.
What the accounts share
Mark 1:16-20 and Luke 5:1-11
Both are the calling of Simon and his partners by the lake, ending with them leaving the boats to follow. The scenes differ materially: Mark has the call beside the nets, Luke sets it after the great catch of fish.
Luke 5:2 and Matthew 4:18
Both set the scene with nets by the lake, at different moments: Matthew's brothers are casting, Luke's fishermen have already come ashore and are washing.

John 1:39 and Matthew 4:18
Not the same scene. John places a first meeting away from the lake, where the disciples stay with Jesus for a day, before the lakeside call the Synoptics begin with.

Luke 5:2 and Mark 1:16
The same lakeside detail from two angles: Mark's brothers are casting their nets, Luke's fishermen have left the boats and are washing them.

The accounts
Matthew 4:18
18And Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishers)
Mark 1:16-20
16And passing by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother, casting nets into the sea (for they were fishers) 17and Jesus said to them: Come after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. 18And immediately leaving their nets, they followed him. 19And being gone thence a little further, he saw James of Zebedee, and John his brother, and them repairing their nets in the ship: 20and forthwith he called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with his hired men, they followed him.
Luke 5:1-11
1And it came to pass, when the multitudes pressed upon him to hear the word of God, and himself stood beside the lake of Genesareth. 2And he saw two ships standing by the lake: and the fishers were gone down, and washed their nets. 3And he going up into one ship that was Simon's, desired him to bring it back a little from the land. And sitting, he taught the multitudes out of the ship. 4And as he ceased to speak, he said to Simon: Launch forth into the deep, and let loose your nets to make a draught. 5And Simon answering, said to him: Master, labouring all the night, we have taken nothing; but in thy word I will let loose the net. 6And when they had done this, they inclosed a very great multitude of fishes, and their net was broken. 7And they beckoned to their fellows that were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both ships, so that they did sink. 8Which when Simon Peter did see, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying: Go forth from me, because I am a sinful man, O Lord. 9For he was wholly astonished and all that were with him, at the draught of fishes which they had taken. 10In like manner also James and John the sons of Zebedee, who were Simon's fellows. And Jesus said to Simon: Fear not; from this time now, thou shalt be taking men. 11And having brought their ships to land, leaving all things they followed him.
John 1:39
39He saith to them: Come and see. They came, and saw where he abode, and they tarried with him that day: and it was about the tenth hour.
